Merchant terms · Updated 12 September 2026
Clear expectations for your work.
These terms govern your business use of Upproof, operated by Yusuf Alperen ÖZ, Meltem Mahallesi, 3834 Sokak, Özgün Sitesi C4 No: 14, Muratpaşa, Antalya, Türkiye. By installing or using Upproof for a store, you agree to these terms on that business’s behalf and confirm that you are authorized to do so. Our Data processing terms form part of this agreement; our Privacy notice explains our practices.
The service and your responsibilities
Upproof connects customer artwork to an order line, lets you publish proofs for review, records decisions, and helps prepare production. You remain responsible for your products, customer communications, payment and fulfillment checks, production quality, and the store’s refund and consumer obligations. Test the upload flow with your theme and checkout before relying on it for customer orders.
You and your customers keep ownership of your content. You authorize us to host, copy, display, and transmit it only as needed to provide and secure the service and follow your instructions. You must have the rights and lawful grounds to supply it. Do not upload unlawful or infringing content, malicious files, unnecessary sensitive personal information, or material intended to disrupt the service. Keep store access and customer links secure.
What a proof approval means
An approval records an explicit action through a private link for one published proof version, its displayed production specifications, and the job revision associated with it. Opening a link does not approve anything. The app does not independently verify the identity of the person holding the link.
Approval does not cover a replacement file, a later proof, an unshown design note, or changed production details. Include all production requirements in the proof and obtain a fresh approval when needed. Check the current order and approved version before production; printed or downloaded copies can become outdated. Upproof does not guarantee an exact color, size, material, or manufacturing result from an on-screen proof.
Plans, trials, and billing
Available plans and any trial are shown in Shopify before you subscribe. Stores on Free have 5 new proof jobs per UTC calendar month. Paid options, when offered, are Starter at $19 for 100 new jobs and Pro at $39 for 300 new jobs, each per month in USD. A 14-day paid-plan trial applies only when offered and confirmed in Shopify.
When enabled, recurring charges, trial dates, any applicable taxes, and plan-change timing are presented in Shopify before you accept. Manage your subscription through Plans → Choose or manage your plan in Shopify. Shopify’s billing cycle is separate from Upproof’s calendar-month allowance.
One allowance unit is used when the first proof for an order line is successfully published. Uploads alone, failed publications, and revisions do not use another unit. Allowances reset on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC. An upgrade does not reset usage. Reaching the limit prevents new proof jobs; existing jobs and revisions remain available. There are no automatic overage charges. Separate upload and storage limits apply as shown in the app.
Cancellation and refunds
You may uninstall Upproof through Shopify at any time. For Shopify-billed plans, uninstalling stops future billing cycles; a charge already incurred may still appear on your next invoice. Any available change to Free can be managed through the Shopify plan screen with the effective date shown there. Export the files and records you need before uninstalling; the service is not a permanent archive.
For a disputed app charge, credit, or refund, contact us with your shop domain and the charge date and amount. We review requests in light of the charge, service provided, and applicable law, and process approved adjustments through Shopify. Cancellation does not automatically refund prior charges. Nothing here excludes mandatory refund or other statutory rights.
Availability, suspension, and liability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Shopify, hosting, email delivery, and internet interruptions can affect the workflow. Keep copies of files you need and allow time to resolve problems before production deadlines.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a security risk, unlawful use, or a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the issue and allow it to be resolved. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to retrieve available data, unless law or urgent security needs prevent this.
Each party is responsible for its own obligations under this agreement and applicable law. We do not assume responsibility for manufacturing, delivery, or customer promises you make independently of Upproof. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or excuses our own fraud or intentional misconduct.
Changes and contact
We will notify merchants of material changes through the app or a service notice before they take effect, except for urgent legal or security changes. New charges require Shopify’s applicable acceptance process. The laws of Türkiye govern these terms, without removing protections or court rights that mandatory applicable law gives you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute.
